Let’s Talk Community Discussion #5

In the fifth of six virtual community discussions that follow the chapters of Let’s Talk: A toolkit for navigating teen substance use in Marin County, we will dive deeper into the chapter on “Legal and school consequences”.

Jeff Peterson from Central Marin Police Authority will discuss the legal issues and school policies and how he works with young people.

Jon Hirsch, Social Issues and Substance Use Prevention teacher and TUPE (Tobacco Use Prevention Education) educator at Redwood High School, will discuss restorative practices at school.

There will also be a speaker sharing the youth perspective.
