We will explore how mental health challenges\, such as anxiety\, depression\, and stress\, can increase the likelihood of adolescents turning to substances as a coping mechanism. \n\n\n\nThe session will highlight the warning signs\, the impact of substance use on brain development\, and the long-term consequences for emotional and physical well-being. Additionally\, we will consider strategies for prevention and ways to bolster support systems to equip parents and caregivers with tools to help their youth.  \n\n\n\nSpeakers \n\n\n\nTracy Foose\, MD\, Anxiety Specialist & Associate Professor\, UCSF School of Medicine \n\n\n\nBarry Liu\, Junior @ Branson School\, will offer his perspective and join for the Q&A session
