Reporting for Success: Risk and Protective Factors Webinar

The DFC & CARA National Evaluation team will be hosting a joint webinar with the Centers For Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) on June 15th, from 3-5:00PM ET, on risk and protective factors.

During this webinar:

CDC expert Sarah Bacon will discuss:

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and substance use with a focus on the intersectionality of risk and shared opportunities for prevention.
  • Positive childhood experiences (PCEs) in preventing both ACEs and substance use.

The DFC & CARA National Evaluation Team will discuss:

  • Changes to the Risk and Protective Factors section for both the DFC and CARA progress reports.
  • Guidance on how to successfully complete this section of the DFC & CARA progress reports.

There will also be ample time at the end of the session for Q&A. We encourage you to login to DFC & CARA Me and navigate to your 2023 Progress Report to review the updated Risk and Protective factor section. You can do this by clicking on “Reporting” and then “Progress Reports” in the main navigation bar. There are also Word versions of the DFC and CARA Progress Reports in the Learning Center. You can find these resources by typing “Template: Progress Report” in the Learning Center search box.
